Sunny Deol joins BJP amid 2019 Lok Sabha elections

Actor Sunny Deol has joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) amid the 2019 Lok Sabha elections in the presence of Union Ministers Piyush Goyal and Nirmala Sitharaman. He'll reportedly contest elections from Punjab's Gurdaspur or Chandigarh. Earlier, he met BJP President Amit Shah at the Pune airport, with the BJP's city unit President Yogesh Gogawale describing it as a scheduled meeting.
