Super Micro Co-founder accused of smuggling $2.5 billion-worth Nvidia-powered servers to China

Three people linked to US-based AI server maker Super Micro Computer, including its Co-founder Yih-Shyan Liaw, have been charged for allegedly smuggling at least $2.5 billion worth of servers powered by Nvidia's chips to China. As per the press release, the accused even used hair dryers to remove labels and put them on dummy boxes. The 71-year-old has been arrested.
