Supercomputer predicts Argentina, Portugal's FIFA World Cup knockout fate

With Argentina and Portugal both qualifying for FIFA World Cup 2026 knockouts, Opta Analyst's supercomputer has predicted their fate in the tournament. Argentina have 86.10%, 67.76%, 45.68%, 28.36% and 15.38% chances of reaching last 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, final and becoming champions, respectively. Portugal's chances for the same stages stand at 68.35%, 38.64%, 22.58%, 11.78% and 5.88%.
