The Supreme Court has quashed an Order passed by the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT), Ahmedabad, saying that it committed an error in bifurcating the continuous process of manufacture. The Court allowed an appeal of the Commissioner of Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax, Rajkot under Section 35-L (b) of the Central Excise Act, 1944.
