Supreme Court to hear plea against CEC Gyanesh Kumar over internal rift reports

Supreme Court has agreed to hear a petition against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over the decisions taken by the Election Commission of India under him. The plea alleged that he took decisions unilaterally without the approval of the other two Election Commissioners, Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi. Indian Express had reported about the alleged internal rift within EC.
