Supriya Shrinate appointed as Congress' new social media head
The Congress party appointed Supriya Shrinate as Chairperson of the Social Media and Digital Platforms in its Communications Department. Shrinate, a former journalist, replaces Rohan Gupta, who has now been appointed as the party spokesperson. The changes come after the party formed a new communications department and appointed Jairam Ramesh as its General Secretary in-charge.
