An Australian surfer, Mick Fanning fought off a shark attack and escaped unharmed at the World Surf League in South Africa as the footage was captured on TV. Fanning, a triple world champion, was sitting on his board in the water when the shark lunged at him, tipping him off the board before being rescued by the safety crew.
