Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' among 366 films eligible for Best Picture at Oscars

Suriya's film 'Soorarai Pottru' is among the 366 films that are eligible for Best Picture nomination at the 93rd Academy Awards. The Tamil film is partially based on the book 'Simply Fly', written on the life of Air Deccan Founder Captain GR Gopinath. Directed by Sudha Kongara, 'Soorarai Pottru' also stars Mohan Babu, Paresh Rawal, Prakash Belawadi and Aparna Balamurali.
