Suryakant Tiwari sent to 12-day ED custody in Chhattisgarh coal scam case

Mineral and transport businessman Suryakant Tiwari was sent to 12-day Enforcement Directorate (ED) custody after he surrendered before a special court in Raipur in the Chhattisgarh coal scam case. Tiwari was allegedly extorting money from mining transporters and an FIR was registered against him in Bengaluru. Tiwari said that there was a threat to his life and he surrendered.
