Suryakumar becomes 1st cricketer to play 100 IPL matches before international debut

Mumbai Indians batsman Suryakumar Yadav on Thursday became the first cricketer to play 100 IPL matches without having played an international match so far. During his 38-ball 51-run knock against Delhi Capitals in the Qualifier 1, he also became the first player to score 2,000-plus runs in IPL before his international debut. Suryakumar has played a total of 164 T20s.
