Sushma Swaraj's daughter Bansuri made NDMC member after becoming MP

Late Union Minister Sushma Swaraj's daughter Bansuri Swaraj has been appointed as a member of New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). This comes days after the 40-year-old BJP leader, who is a lawyer, became a Lok Sabha MP from New Delhi. NDMC members oversee maintenance of essential public services and contribute to formulation and implementation of policies related to urban planning.
