Sushmita Sen played the role of Miss Universe in debut film

Actress Sushmita Sen, who became the first Indian to win the Miss Universe title in 1994, played the role modelled after her win in her debut film 'Dastak' (1996). The actress, who turned 41 on Saturday, won the 'Best Supporting Actress' Filmfare Award for the 1999 film 'Biwi No.1'. Sushmita's last Hindi film was the 2010 film 'No Problem'.
