Suspended MPs ate tandoori chicken before Gandhi statue: BJP spokesman

BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla said that some of the suspended Rajya Sabha MPs protesting at Parliament complex ate/served tandoori chicken in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue. "Gandhiji had staunch views on the slaughter of animals," he said. PTI reported that Opposition parties arranged "idli-sambar, tandoori chicken and gajar ka halwa" for suspended MPs who protested overnight.
