SUV seen in viral video crossing river to beat Himachal Pradesh traffic challaned

A challan was issued under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, after a viral video showed an SUV crossing the Chandra River in Lahaul and Spiti district to beat traffic amid the holiday season. "To ensure that no one commits such an offence in the future, the district police have deployed police personnel at the said place," SP Mayank Chaudhary said.
