Indian spiritual leader and monk, Swami Vivekananda, was born as Narendranath Dutta on January 12, 1863, to an attorney of the Calcutta High Court and his wife in West Bengal. The founder of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission represented India at the US Parliament of the World Religions in 1893. His birthday is celebrated as National Youth Day in India.
