Swamy accuses Axis Bank, Max Life of ₹5,100-cr scam; bank denies claim

BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has moved the Delhi High Court, accusing Axis Bank and Max Life Insurance of a ₹5,100-crore scam. Swamy said the bank made "undue gains" from the purchase and sale of Max Life's shares in a "non-transparent manner". Axis Bank called Swamy's allegations "unfounded" and said they won't have any material impact.
