Sweden says Russian spy plot tried to discredit EU and NATO allies

Sweden's security service said it shut down a spying operation directed by Russia's foreign intelligence service. It claimed that the spy operation attempted to influence and discredit Sweden's decision-making along with its EU and NATO allies. Sweden's SAPO security service added that the operation involved three people working in the country under the cover of diplomatic immunity.
