Sweden spends ₹1,000 cr to replace screens with books in schools
Sweden is investing over ₹1,000 crore to replace classroom screens with physical textbooks after 15 years of digital-heavy education led to declining PISA scores, poor reading comprehension, and attention issues. Every student will get printed books for core subjects, with screens as supplements only. This policy, funded from 2023-2025, aims to boost focus and learning.
