Sweden to extend COVID-19 curbs by 2 weeks amid rising cases
Sweden will extend its COVID-19 curbs by another two weeks amid rising infections, Swedish Health Minister Lena Hallengren said on Wednesday. Existing restrictions in Sweden place a cap of 500 people inside large indoor venues while restaurants and bars must close by 11 pm. Sweden has reported around 2,70,000 COVID-19 cases in the last seven days.
