Sweepers, peons get promoted for 1st time in CRPF history

A total of 217 CRPF personnel serving as sweepers and peons were promoted for first time in the paramilitary force's history. A 'rank piping' ceremony was held at various offices of the force including its headquarters in Delhi. They've been promoted from the rank of constable to the rank of head constable, CRPF Director General AD Singh said.
