Swiatek coach allegedly asks fan to stop cheering at US Open clash

Iga Swiatek's coach Francisco Roig allegedly scolded a fan during her US Open 2026 clash against Qinwen Zheng after the supporter shouted, "You've got this, Iga, let's go." In a video posted by fan Robert Spencer, Roig turned around and gestured for him to stop cheering. Swiatek eventually lost 7-5, 6-3 after surrendering a 5-0 lead in the opening set.
