Swiggy lays off 380 employees, CEO says 'I'm extremely sorry'
Swiggy on Friday announced that it has laid off 380 employees as part of a restructuring exercise. "This has been an extremely difficult decision...and I'm extremely sorry to all of you for having to go through with this," the startup's CEO Sriharsha Majety told employees. Fired Swiggy employees will receive 3-6 months of salary, based on their tenure and grade.
