Swimming pool, multi-gym inside park against rules: K'taka HC tells BBMP

Karnataka High Court has ordered the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) against constructing a swimming pool or gym inside the Gayathri Devi Park. Such constructions are prohibited in parks, playfields and open spaces in Karnataka, the HC said. Advocate GR Mohan had alleged that BBMP was doing the illegal construction on proposals given by the 'land mafia'.
