Swimming pools & construction sites in Mumbai not to get water as BMC halts supply

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has suspended water supply to all construction sites and swimming pools as the city deals with dwindling reservoir levels. Furthermore, water supply to aerated beverage and packaged drinking water bottling plants will be solely restricted to workers' drinking needs. Earlier, a 20% supply cut to industrial and commercial establishments was announced.
