Swimming, water sports on Goa beaches closed over monsoon

Swimming and water sports across beaches in Goa have been closed till the end of September as the state witnessed monsoon rains from Friday and the seas are expected to be rough. An advisory issued by a lifeguard service asked visitors to not walk into water above knee-level even on days with no rain as a precaution.
