Swiss city to adopt minimum wage of ₹1,830/hour, believed to be world's highest

Switzerland's Geneva, one of the world's most expensive cities to live in, will introduce a minimum hourly wage of 23 Swiss francs (₹1,830), believed to be the highest in the world. The guaranteed minimum monthly salary based on a 41-hour week will be 4,086 Swiss francs (₹3.25 lakh). The minimum wage was approved by 58% of Geneva voters.
