Swiss firm's 'refiners aren't buyers' remark adds new twist to Rajesh Exports' ₹15-lakh-cr fraud

A remark by Simone Knobloch, CEO of Rajesh Exports' Swiss subsidiary Valcambi, has added a new twist to SEBI's probe into the alleged diversion of ₹15-lakh-crore funds. "Refiners aren't buyers...Whatever Valcambi...receives is delivered by banks or metal traders," Knobloch said in an old interview. The statement gains prominence as SEBI has repeatedly questioned Valcambi's massive revenues.
