Swiss regulator launches probe into Google over Android default search

Switzerland's Competition Commission (COMCO) has launched an investigation into Google over the removal of a feature that let Android users choose a search engine other than Google as the default. The regulator added the option remains available in other European countries, adding, "This new practice by Google could affect the ability of other digital ⁠service providers to compete."
