OpenAI CEO Sam Altman took to X and said, "I'm switching to polyphasic sleep because GPT-5.5 in Codex is so good that I can't afford to be sleeping for such long stretches and miss out on working." Notably, OpenAI recently introduced its most advanced AI model, GPT-5.5. The firm had called it a "new class of intelligence for real work".
