Switzerland to lift almost all COVID-19 restrictions

The Swiss government on Wednesday said it is dropping almost all COVID-19 restrictions in Switzerland from Thursday. Wearing of masks in health-care facilities and on public transport, and mandatory five-day isolation for those who test positive remain in effect until March. From Thursday, COVID-19 certificates will no longer be required to enter bars, restaurants and cinemas.
