SWR records highest-ever July freight loading of 4.69 MT

South Western Railway achieved its highest-ever July freight loading by transporting 4.69 million tonnes of goods. The zone earned ₹793.31 crore during the month, with freight operations contributing ₹449.27 crore. Passenger services generated ₹303.54 crore, while 1.47 crore passengers travelled on the network. SWR attributed the growth to improved operational efficiency.
