Synchronised response to lower inflation is the best approach: RBI ED

Reserve Bank of India Executive Director (ED) Sitikantha Pattanaik on Thursday said a synchronised response to lowering inflation is the best approach. Central banks can and must deliver price stability but there's a debate on whether they alone could deliver it, Pattanaik said. India had not seen "massive" fiscal interventions to ease prices as seen recently, he added.
