T. rex walked on tiptoes & a small one could run faster than Usain Bolt: Study

Researchers have found that the Tyrannosaurus rex walked and ran on tiptoes after analysing the apex predator's footprints, which showed the deepest parts under the toes. The study, published in the journal Royal Society Open Science, also found that a small T. rex could run 100 metres in only 8.77 seconds, which is faster than Olympic gold-medal winner Usain Bolt.
