T'gana consumer panel orders ₹20,999 payout over damaged shoes

A Telangana man who bought ₹12,999 shoes in October 2025 saw visible damage within two months. After the company rejected his warranty claim as regular wear and tear, the Rangareddy consumer commission ordered a ₹12,999 refund, ₹5,000 compensation, and ₹3,000 in litigation costs. The company was directed to pay ₹20,999 within 45 days.
