T'gana govt to exempt EV buyers from road tax, registration fees

Telangana government has announced that it'll provide a 100% exemption from road tax and registration fee on the electric vehicles purchased and registered in the state. The exemption would be valid for two years up to December 2026. Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said, "The EV policy is being introduced with...aim of preventing Hyderabad from becoming a polluted city like Delhi."
