T'gana spends highest on tobacco, intoxicants among larger state

Telangana leads South India in spending on pan, tobacco, and intoxicants, with rural areas allocating 7.29 percent of household budgets to these substances. At the same time, urban expenditure also ranks among the highest in the country.
