T'gana to lower minimum age for contesting elections to 21: CM Reddy

The Telangana government will convene a special Assembly session to pass a resolution urging the Centre to lower the minimum age for contesting Lok Sabha and Assembly elections to 21, CM Revanth Reddy announced. He said Gen Z makes up nearly 30% of India's population but has less than 1% representation in Parliament, citing Singapore as an example.
