T20 WC final host Ahmedabad's population is 40 lakh more than New Zealand's

Ahmedabad, hosting the India-New Zealand T20 World Cup 2026 final, has a population of about 93 lakh, nearly forty lakhs more than the population of New Zealand, which stands at around 53.6 lakh. "For us to go out and compete with teams around the world, with such small population is fantastic," New Zealand all-rounder Glenn Phillips said ahead of final.
