Chhattisgarh government on Wednesday ordered the suspension of eight police personnel who were indicted by the CBI for setting houses ablaze in Bastar's Tadmetla area during an anti-Naxal operation in 2011. The CBI contradicted the state police's claim that the Naxals had set the 160 houses on fire. Notably, CBI said it had evidence of the involvement of 323 policemen.
