Taiwan aiming to produce 100,000 drones per month by 2030: Report
Taiwan wants to become a major drone producer to defend against China and is aiming to produce 100,000 drones per month by 2030 and export half of them, The New York Times reported. Taiwan exported drones worth $115 million in the first three months of 2026. The report further said Taiwan wants to acquire 210,000 flying and sea drones.
