Taiwan bars all govt agencies from using DeepSeek AI services

Taiwan has barred all its government agencies and critical infrastructure service providers from using Chinese AI startup DeepSeek's technology. "Its operation involves security concerns such as cross-border transmission and information leakage," Taiwan's Ministry of Digital Affairs said. This comes after Italy's privacy regulator blocked the app while the UK issued a warning to its citizens.
