Taiwan boosting anti-ship missile arsenal to counter China threat
Taiwan is enhancing its defences against China, and its arsenal of powerful anti-ship missiles is expected to reach 1,800 by early 2029, as per Reuters. Taiwan aims to build a resilient force with affordable yet deadly weapons to counter the mounting threat of a blockade or Chinese invasion. This arsenal comprises US-supplied Harpoon missiles and locally produced Hsiung Feng missiles.
