Taiwan election candidate puts up anti-India billboard, promises to ban Indian migrants

A candidate in a local election in Taiwan has sparked outrage after putting up a billboard featuring the Indian national flag and a Sikh man wearing a turban under a prohibition symbol. The billboard is a part of his campaign opposing the recruitment of migrant workers from India. It was displayed in Kaohsiung City’s Siaogang District.
