Taiwan issues arrest warrant for OnePlus Co-founder Lau for hiring Taiwanese employees
Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus' Co-founder Pete Lau may soon be arrested as Taiwanese prosecutors issued a warrant for him, while indicting two Taiwanese citizens who worked for him. OnePlus is suspected of illegally recruiting 70+ engineers in Taiwan, which goes against Taiwan's efforts to stop Chinese companies from hiring Taiwanese workers. Investigators recently raided 11 Chinese tech firms.
