Taiwan issues statement after politician opposes Indian migrants, puts up racist billboard

Taiwan released a statement condemning a local election candidate who put up a racist anti-India billboard while opposing recruitment of Indian migrant workers. "Such biased remarks don't represent our stance...Taiwan has long been committed to planning introduction of Indian migrant workers," it said. We deeply regret & strongly condemn any form of prejudice, racism, and discrimination, it added.
