Taiwan President Tsai warns China against 'military adventurism'

Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen warned China against "military adventurism". During her New Year's speech, Tsai said that military conflict is not the answer to cross-strait disagreements. Notably, while Taiwan and China split after a civil war in 1949, the former considers itself an independent country while the latter considers it to be a part of its territory.
