Taiwan reports 458 nationals missing or held in China

Taiwan's Mainland Affairs Council reports 458 nationals missing, detained, or restricted in China this year — up four from the previous week. Separately, four Taiwanese members of the I-Kuan Tao religious group detained in China between April and July remain unreleased. Officials have urged all I-Kuan Tao followers to return to Taiwan and called for a 'red alert' travel warning.
