Taiwan says 7 Chinese vessels, 3 ships detected around island

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defense said that it detected the presence of seven Chinese naval vessels and three official ships around its territorial waters as of 6 am (local time) on Monday. "ROC Armed Forces have monitored the situation and responded...No flight path illustration is provided, as we didn't detect PLA aircraft operating around Taiwan during this timeframe," it added.
