Taiwan to fine Foxconn for unauthorised investment in Chinese chipmaker

Taiwan's government said it would fine Foxconn for an unauthorised investment in Chinese chipmaker Tsinghua Unigroup. Taiwan-based Foxconn on Friday said that it had agreed to sell its entire equity stake in Tsinghua. Taiwan's Economy Ministry said that its investment commission will ask Foxconn on Monday for a "complete explanation" about the investment.
