Taiwan to hand ₹30,000 cash to every citizen, thanks to AI

Taiwan President Lai Ching-te announced plans to hand ₹30,000 in cash to eligible citizens next year, thanks to an AI-led boom. Lai said Taiwan won't see a net debt increase despite the ₹70,700-crore handouts. This comes as Taiwan's economy is performing more strongly than previously forecast, with the country possibly becoming the world's first to share AI's benefits with citizens.
